cant open bonnet handle thing doenst do anything and ween i pull on the wire it still doesnt do anything so what can i do?

Get a mate to push down on the bonnet when you pull the wire, see if that works.

When your pulling the catch get a mate to lift the bonnet, might work

I had this on my corsa.
When I pulled the handle to release the catch from inside the car by time I got around to the bonnet to lift the catch the handle had reset in place 
I sprayed 50ml of wd40 which worked for about a day now I just play a little game with it spending ages trying to be quick enough to open the bonnet
