I Know its a long shot but does any of you griffin nuts know if the Astra SRI 1.6T XP 180 has the Tyre pressure management system on the up-rated XP 18" alloys.
Was told today that it might have so not sure if i can change the wheels, any clues.

Doesn't mean you can't change the wheels, just that you might get a dash light or something which you can reset probably easily enough.

If there's nothing at all inside the car tells you then perhaps you could try letting one down.

I'm sure this should be on the trip computer somewhere though? ie. you can see the pressures on that screen and in addition it will warn you if one is flat.

use the valves from the XP pack wheels, which contain the pressure sensors, then you can have whatever wheels you want.

Yer was thinking about doing that but wasnt sure how much hassle it would be, Think i just might try the wheels on the car and see what happens.
Failing that the SRI wheels are still as nice.
Aparently it shows up on Tech2 but it wont communicate what ever that means, Think it might mean that its there but not connected ?

it'd mean taking the tyres off both sets and refitting/rebalancing them after, but it's a 2 minute job to do all 4 valves, they NEED to go back on the same corner they came from though.

you can get away with not removing the tyre sometimes, just using a bead breaker on a fitting machine to hold the tyre back while you do the valve

any decent tyre place should do it for £20 or so for you.
