planning on cutting my mid box out tomorrow and welding a section of pipe from an old centre section in to replace the mid box.do you think this will have the same effect as a cat back exhaust system as i already have a sports back box but im on a bit of a budget

i bodged up a pipe for my old corsa and it worked fine, just made it louder though tbh

thats all im really lookin to make it do,have the effect of it being a cat-back as its only a 1.2 16v i'm not looking for any extra power or anything.just something that will hopefully cover up the engine noise past 4k rpm

remove the rear silencer then mine popped and banged like fucked..

bit raspy wen cold but wen warmed up was well loud then i but the xe in and had no cat and no rear box as was even louder..

when you say it popped and banged like fuck? do you mean as in when its coming back down the revs and when you dropped it down a gear etc?

My Corsa pops Happens when you get unburt fuel in the exhaust.
