Reet - which wires do i swap so that i can turn my CD player on without the ignition on?

PS - Tis in a nova

just need to set it up for tonight so the cd player doesnt keep turning off

ive swapped the red an yellow wires in the bullet connectors but it still wont come on without the ignition being on.

however, now when i turn the ignition on the cd player doesnt turn on automatically. How the ehll do i get it to turn on without ignition!

To make it turn on with the ignition on, you need to put the red and yellow on the headunit side to the permenent live on the car side - I forget what colour that is

ahh, whoops.... must be the yellow wire on the car side of the loom...

i told you the red IIRC.

ahhaha its fine dude it isnt staying in anyway. will stop me battery going flat as i tend to forget pretty much anything.
Is a crappy sony xplod gx111 or something. 39.99 new. Got it for 18 lol.
