Dida will be okay to play this weekend. Thank the lord, I really thought he'd be out for a while after that savage finger poking.

Do you think that pic of Dida on the link is when he saw the chuck norris wannabe running at him?

And 'slammed' in the neck was a bit of an exaggeration

Can no longer play tig though

quote:

AC Milan keeper Dida was tonight ruled out of the World Tig Championships following a horror injury sustained at Celtic Park Glasgow. Dida who was in the running for the top spot in the WTC was struck down by a gifted unknown from Glasgow. The amatuer tig player cornered Dida between two posts and a net and managed to tig him and shout "You're it" before making a clean get away. Dida attempted to tig him back but was unable to catch the nimble soap dodger. Dida was so humiliated at being caught by a "rank" outsider that he collapsed in a total cream puff and had to be carried from the field greeting for his mammy

A poll in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport took more than 60,000 votes by noon on Thursday in an online poll on Dida - with 83% calling on Milan and Uefa to punish the Brazilian.

Berlusconi said the same thing as well apparently. The thing is though if the fan doesn't run on the pitch then Dida the dumpling is not put in a position where he can be tigged and feign near death 5 seconds later so i doubt he'll be punished.

The shame he should feel being stretchered off with an ice pack on his face and being substituted is enough for me

Well Rivaldo got punished for that pathetic dive during the World Cup a few years back.

This one:

He got fined.................... £5k

He earns that in a day FFS. How is that a punishment?!

He's been given a 2 game ban. About time this sort of thing was given the right punishment.
Nice to see Celtic only got a £25k fine as well
