my car keeps dying now and then when i first start it. Isnt like a stall, just dies.
also does it sometimes when i dip my clutch say when im coming to a stop.
Any ideas? Is fine after a little while of driving.
Am replacing the AFM soon but apart from that i have no ideas.

My car is kinda like this. If im pulling away or stopping at a junction i have to give it loads of rev's so it dosent stall, i know most cars need revs to move away but i literally have to get it up to like 5 on the rev counter so it dosent stall.

nah mine aint like that.
No probs with revs or anything. Just cuts out now and then.
Definately has to be with sensors conerning air etc but i need clever people to help

When you dip the clutch does the engine management light come on?
then it cuts out when you slow rite down?

no engine management light. havnt seen it come on.
But yeh cuts out when i slow down.

mine did this on deansgate in manchester the other day. (busy as fook road for those who dont know it). Pulled up at a set of lights and the engine just died. engine management light came on and it wouldn't restart. tried again about 5 mins later and it fired up perfectly.
