Could still be the ECU. When mine was getting no spark, my eml was on when i turned the ignition on but it wouldn't spark. I put a new ECU on and it started first time. So my ECU was obviously getting power to it to bring up the eml, but wasn't giving out a spark. Haven't had the problem since.

i no that the ecu works cause i put it in phils motor, an it starts an runs

UPDATE ON MY 2.0 NOVA
All sorted engine is now running an i can drive it yay.
however..... ive now having clutch problems, it was wining on tickover, so i adjusted it back to tighten it up an that has now stopped and i have a bite about 1" - 1" 1/2 up. the problem is the peddle is now sat right up high an unless u bring it right out wen driving it, it slips.

anyone got any idesa wat i can do? do u have tochange the cable wen doing the conversion is there anything i av done wrong?
