Get a police crime reference number.
Sometimes the network provider blocks the phone so it becomes useless iirc

Byron not sometimes, everytime.

pretty pointless but depends on the insurer. Orange are very strict and not stupid

They know more than you think

Any sim card placed in any hadset sends a record of it to the network. As you can imagine it's fairly easy to trace

Don't they blacklist the phone anyway so that it can't be used?

never claimed ive had one nicked but many a time have i 'accidentally' run it over to get a brand new one when my old was was looking a bit tired!!

thats what you pay insurance for!

my mate used to do all the phone scams years ago but eventually it got too hard to do and was too much hassle for what little you make off doing it
