Best and most robust 1 to buy? We had 1 for about 18 years or something and the thing was fine, since moving house and losing it we have now been through 6 tin openers that have all either broken or just do not do their job...open a tin I've now resorted to using a swiss army knife and some scout techniques
Don't mind if it's electric either as long as it works, we've tried ikea ones, ones from ASDA the lot and they all fall to bits!

Tried them, literally fell apart into 3 seperate pieces after a week. I don't have a clue what's happening, do i not know my own strength or do they make tins up here out of galvanised steel?

Any tin but it might be them that's blunting the teeth then! Piercing a hole with the opener then going round it with a sharp knife is a bit much when all you want is a bowl of soup ffs

Your going about it all wrong tbh.
Opening tins means you're probably making it yourself.

Nah it mean's i get shouted to open any tin that's getting opened in the house now rather than the lazy tin opener shirking what it was made for!
