Just been watching the Wright Stuff on channel 5, and the topic of
"Big families bad for the environment" came up...
And it properly kicked off, everyone versus Mr Wright.
He was basically arguing that - the more children you have, the more children they'll have, and the more pollution each individual will have on the planet...
So A single man, who never has children, get's punished for having a gas guzzling car.
But a Family with 8 kids, who'll all grow up to have cars each, get rewarded by child benefit etc, then his argument was if those kids had kids and so on, they'd be like 100 more cars on the road / 100 * more pollution...
But basically it started kicking off. Everyone slagging off wright, Wright slagging off the callers etc.  Saying 'well you'll be able to afford the petrol for your family car, due to all the child benefit the state is giving you all the time'.

I dont agree with everything he says normally, but atleast when he believes in something he does put over a good argument.
