this page... http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/media.htm

or via media tab on left from http://www.trackscotland.co.uk

In my opinion there is too much on the page and it needs seperated.

So... by event, by car?, by track? any other suggestions?

How would you layout the resulting media 'menu' page?

Yeah sub menu is the best bet, do it as 1 file , then point each page to the one file as an include or sumit.

basicly, you create the menu in javascript, then point each page to the one file.

So you would have like a header file, that has the menu in it, then each page points to the header, this is done so if you add to the menu, you simply edit one file rather than every single page.

javascript is better for small gadgets like nismo suggested, php is meant more for back end webpage processing

Id use JS, theres plenty of programs or online tools that can create them for you , easy even if you no little or no JS knowledge to use.

I'm more asking how would you spit it, not how would you link it

im not a fan of framed websites, just keep it to one page, create a nice header image/banner with a fixed width down centre of page similar to vagweb
