the end of mine broke off on the car loom part. i cant get in there and replace it obviously due to the small space in the cd compatement

If so, jusr drop the ashtray out, then you can drop the cable out of there to be able to fit a repair end onto it

On the subject of aerials can anyone suggest who I can get a better receiption on my stereo.
I had a Kenwood head unit with a bee sting aerial from halfords and the receiption was really good.
Since then I fitted a JVC Head unit and a Sony AMP on the parcel shelf and the reception is terrible.
I can pick up stations when out and about but tend to loose them a lot.
Do you think the amp could be causing problems or can you suggest a better aerial that may help.

what do you expect its a JVC i ahev had no work of a lie about 8 of them in my corsa, all the time they went wrong, and the reception was crap, now i got a sony which is a shed load better

beter than a JVC trust me, sometimes you'll find its the conection between head unit and arial thats the reason for crap reception, a lot of people i have come accross will cut the end of there normal arial wire and solder the adapter straight to it,
