Apparently, the stereo is part of the new Corsa loom and required, to do with ECU's and such. I have a feeling it'll cost quite a lot.
The engine is quite a size too.

the engine itself is no bigger than any other 1600 engine, the mess behind is the ecu etc (which you wouldnt use. far better off using standalone management which would make the conversion alot easier) also, you'd need to fabricate a driveby wire throttle assembly, or bodge in one froma a corsa c
just mounting the engine/making thegear linkages etc thats the hard bit

Yes IIRC everything is intwined in the loom.
A lad i know tried to change his speedo clocks on his Corsa !!C!! and the car would have none of it. Wouldnt even start.
As said, youd probably be best ditching the loom altogether and running standalone management- which can be costly.
