never been a fan of third party stuff for consoles, quality never seems quite right.

Id just go for the MS one m8 with the rechargeable dock.

i got something along the lines of this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-Battery-Pack-For-Xbox-360-Xbox360-Wireless-Controller_W0QQitemZ150190596597QQihZ005QQcategoryZ112846QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Think i got slightly bigger batteries and bit less overall cost, havent put a foot wrong yet and would recommend these sort of things

wlel in theory u can, but the cables i got are less than a meter long, and a 37" that close means u cant see the whole tv without moving your eyes lol, just lave them on charge overnight and they will last for a few days with some solid sessions (8 hours plus). we dont play on it that much so i charge them up probly twice a month

the official play and charge kits have long enough leads to plug in and play at the same time.
