Hi guys,
Got my mot due like next tuesday.
My 1st time taking it for one, So was wondering if there is anything to look out for etc??

yeh its a p reg corsa trip.
Has a piper exhaust and centre pipe, have changed the wheels, and has been lowered by 45" if i remember correctly.
And thats about it.

check over the brakes, tread on tyres, check for simple things, such as making sure your sidelights work and all other lights do too!
as you wouldnt want to fail on something silly now would you
depends how confident you are as to how far you could go with preparing for mot

All lights and that working fine, altho i need a new bulb for my rear headlight one.
Appart from that everything is fine i HOPE!!
anything else i should look out for??

jack the car up and feel for any play in the wheels front and back, seat belts make sure they fasen and lock up as they should. and if you have a air fliter on take it of and put standard air box bk on.

gotta love MOT's i was out by 15 days on mine, was an on the spot can you do it NOW?. so i was walking round it as he was MOT'n it checking light bulbs, washers, wipers, seatbelts n shit lol. emmissions you cant check obv. tyres and wheels arent sticking out past arches lol, jack it up to check wheel bearings quick, make sure theres no play in the front head lights (make sure that little white clip at the back isnt snapped and causing the unit to be loose) failed on them before. brakes work well...
