As far as I know you can get the differential cover off an F16, F18 or F20 gearbox though so scrapyard might be a good idea

Just go to a scrapyard and walk out with a diff cover for free . . . . . . . . . . .

Like I said the F16,18 and 20 should be all the same covers.

i'm willing to bet that is damage from inside.

When you get the cover off you need to inspect the planet gears inside the diff before just banging on another cover

ah, in that case i apoligise, the sump didnt look like a small block one, but last i knew you had a 1.48v and a tigra ?
