Who cares if he cant, he has long enough before the real competitive games begin to learn it. And at the end of the day I doubt England players really need the pre and during match speaches, and rather the selection and tactical knowledge of a good manager.

there was a great shout on talksport earlier, with townsend saying who says the english eliment has to be english, he said it could very well be someone like Zola etc who has a great knowledge of the english game
