ive recently disconected my battery and now stereo is asking for code and I havent got it an Vauxhall are wanting 40+ to give me it.

I have found some software to find code but dont understand it, it says I need to read dump or something, anyone got any ideas as to how to get the Code??

Not what your looking for but i got mine off a website (sent to email) for £12

All they need is the serial no off the top of the unit.

google the model and serial and i think youll be able to find the code

VDO's can only be done by EEPROM reading.

thats it, that what i need for the software, eeprom dump. how do i get that and what the hell is it? lol

Unless your going to make a business out of it.... its cheaper to pay Vauxhall.
