Right - We don't have a canteen at work, we make good old pack-ups before we get there for the day.
I want to try and cut excessive bread consumption out - as bread seems to be a staple of the average mans pack-up I want suggestion on what alternatives, interesting alternatives, there are to eat.
Eating times are 10am, 1230pm and 1450 pm.
The day already consists of a couple of pieces of fruit, the work is very hands on so appetite is enormous so 1 rivita and a piece of cheese just dont cut it.
This has to be affordable on a 5 day a week basis and not take a lot of preparation.
Fire away.
Ben.

Tuna, pasta and sweetcorn is always
Just don't pile on loads of dressing as thats what makes it unhealthy!
Could do the same with chicken pieces and pasta too.

Tuna, Pasta & Sweetcorn is a good option but maybe for 2-3 days need to mix it up a bit, if I had that for morning break, lunch and afternoon break it'd drive me mad!

Thats the thing, its 'what' to vary it with.
I'm not very creative when it comes to making my pack-up at 0630 in the morning so i'm gonna make it the night before, I just need suggestions to open my mind to worktime food break opportuinitys

Salads, pasta - vary what you have in it. Can still have sandwiches etc just in moderation.

Instead of bread you could use wholemeal pitta and fill it with tuna/chicken/salad etc

A lunch box with a steak in it and some broccoli or salad, chased down with a litre of freezing cold orange juce.
Healthy, satisfying and filling.

Bloody hell, thats a bit ambitious for a worktime lunch
I only really eat 32oz steaks, maybe i'll break one into 2 and have it over 2 days

You wouldn't need dinner Tiger
You could split it between breakfast and lunch too.
