Actually (I think it may have already been mentioned in this thread) I've seen footage of Rugby from "back in the day" when teams had proper names, like Bradford Northen, and to be fair it doesn't look too bad, BUT, since Sky have got their grubby little mitts on the game, it looks like it more like going to a circus than a sporting event

I mean, why change all the names to be named after animals, of after the colours of the socks. Its not the NFL for christ sakes. Why the need for all the cheer leaders, why the fireworks, why the "half-time shows" Makes me cringe TBH.

The main that angers me though is when they call the Egg, and football No you fucking half wit, its not a football, footballs are round, and they are kicked with you feet. Rugby balls are egg shapped, and are carried around with you hands for 90% of the time, maybe they should re-name them "handballs"
