What a night ive had at work, lots of incidents but a couple that stand out.
A guy gets bottled on the dancefloor, i see a scuffle, split everything up and tend to the asian guy who has blood all over his face. I take him away from the situation to help him, then he starts trying to fight me and tried to bottle me 
A couple was having a domestic, i'd already spoken to them once, i gave them a chance because i didn't want to kick them out and spoil there new year celebrations over something minor. Anyway they're still making a scene, the guy gives her a shove and she asks me to kick him out (which i was going to do anyway). I start walking him out and then the woman starts going mad at me and whacks me with her bag and then takes her shoes off and tries to clobber me over the noggin with her heels
The police were pretty crap tonight, but we do usually have good relations with them. Upstairs a guy glassed his girlfriend cutting her just beneath her eye, so she bottled him back leaving him with a huge gash on his nose. He puts up a struggle and things get a bit rough and he ends up losing his shirt. We take the girl to the front to clean her up and inform the police the man is around the corner as we'd just kicked him out. 10 minutes later the coppers are all standing near our door when the topless man walks up, stands there for a few mins and then puts his foot through our glass front door completely shattering the whole thing. The police just stand there
Bit of an essay but lots of blood and violence tonight so need to wind down. May read a book.

NY is over rated imo. If i hadn't of been working i'd have had a quiet night in
Seem to get all the idiots out who save all their boozing for this one night of the year. Spending the night in a police cell/hospital/with gaping wounds would be the last thing on my agenda.

Our night clubbing in southend was nice and uneventful  Only saw one guy get removed and that was just for been a cock and going up to people and causing trouble.
everyone was just in a good mood and wishing people a happy new year etc

NYE is the most overrated night of the year, usually get all the people who never go out goin g out and getting full on hammered
