for which panel should i go for better accelaration response for 1.2 8v engine?and would it be noticable or it would just make the mpg shite?

You wont get much noticable difference like that from a panel filter i wouldnt have thought 
Id say K&N are best filters.

Wont be noticeable at all and you wont get much of an induction note on that engine.
Save your £40 IMO, just drill some holes in your airbox (not facing engine) below the line where the filter sits.

I drilled holes in my airbox on my 1.2 and it made no noise difference at all.
If you want noise buy a universal induction kit, if you want a healthy car buy a panel filter.

Depends where, how many and what size the holes are.
Different holes makes for a different note.

ive drilled loads of 2" diaeter holes in mine
and it sounds like its on throttle bodies
alot quiter obviously but still sounds decent

ive heard big holes = deep sound & lots of small ones gives a raspier note. When i butcherd my airbox i did big holes, and my dashboard used to vibrate!! (nearly!) very nice sound. thats on a bigger engine mind, not ure about your 1.2 tbh though pal

I cant remember how i drilled mine on my 1.2, its in my progress thread somewhere.
But i noticed it was deeper when i put it back on after the induction kit.
