it was the end of the series the next series will start filming when writers come off strike but the next series is going to be all about villains new characters that are evil etc looks to be quite good from what i have read

Season 2 is due to have 24 episodes, made up from Volumes 2 and 3. It's on a break because of the writer's strike.
Heroes: Origins has been delayed as a result too.

They bodged the ending as an end of volume type thing as it would have been the break anyway and obviously this writers strike has bollocked it up a bit. Turns out that its ok though as if it wasn't for the strike the guy who plays slyar would have had to be written out due to him filming star trek.
