I am aware that this is an FAQ but meh;

which make of springs am looking for that are around £50-£80 and a standard (ish) ride comfort (bit harder than standard maybe).

I'm looking for -40mm springs for a sport

Also;

I parked next to a Corsa B SRi recently that was lowered 40mm and my car seemed lower on standard suspension Are sports lower or isit that my car is lowered withought me realising

i've got spax rear 60mm springs with gmax shortened shocks, currently have 60mm front ones on standard shocks, if you're goin any lower than 40, get shorter shocks or the ride will be poop.

if your just after some 40mm springs can't go wrong with gmax for the price

For that price range gmax would be an option,for twice the price you can get Eibach

The springs on a GSI are -15mm lower IIRC
