my corsa sport as i come to a junction not raggin it by the way just started whining loud as fcuk, thought it was alternator at first but gt home sounded completely wrong area more like cambelt or somewhere there or below there, wot could it be?
also engine bin starting real rough for a while if that helps.

take your alternator belt off and see if the noise is still there, If it is then its your cam rollers and you should get them changed asap!

diff in gearbox?? make sure non of your belts r rubbing on anything? or tensioner gone?
