My car is starting to turn pink....i booked it into a body shop......which has now closed..due to problems..
Is there any kind of stuff better than T-cut to get it back RED?

mine went pink but i just t cut it of a few weeks and it has turned red again, other option is to a bodyshop for them to mop it or some stuff i have just got not sure if its any good havent used it yet put its finesse-it its meant to be really good

try G3 cutting compound. but be careful with it though because it is quite abrasive. Autoglym also do trade compounds like that. you cant get them from anywhere like halfords i dont think, ull have to go somewhere more specialist to get hold of that.

you want to use in this order with a bodyshop buffer g3 compound,3m finess,then good quality polish then a good sealer wax by hand.
as said above be carefull with the g3.
the results should be worth the effort.

Bit of a hijack here but is there any point using t-cut if you have laquered paint? some of mines a bit shoddy

i want mine to look like that ^^^^ but.....i think it may have gone to "pink".....ill give t-cut a go with some before and after pics....if not then ill ask again....

I've only had my 1st car since Friday, I'm going to T-Cut when we get some better weather (no garage). Anybody got any useful tips for a newbie? Do you give it a normal wash 1st?
