Hiya im in cardiff for the weekend and seeing as its a capital city I hope to be taking some nice pics of City Hall the Uni and the Bay

Ive had a few practice night time shots and would love some opinions!

I think they are a bit over exposed

Whats going on with the clouds in the top one

Also you can still get camera shake using a tripod for when you press the shutter. Use the Cameras timer to avoid this or if you can get a remote shutter release

Like the bridge shot matt, like you say maybe just a tad over exposed but its nice.

The first pic was shot at about 4:30 so at dusk, i wasnt happy with it so i went back at about 8:30 to do it again

I knew the bridge one was over exposed as soon as I put it on the computer would that need less shutter speed as that was around 8 secs

would highly reccomend you search out this building at night



the Wales Millennium Centre


drive past it often when im in the city and at night looks great, with professional photography im sure would give some great shots!
