my clock,date+temp all reset when i turn the engine off so i obviously i have no memory on it for some reason.
could i take a perm live or sumthing from my headunit to give the mfd memory??

if you used a permanant live then it would need a switch to turn it off. take an ignition feed off the fag lighter. or one from the headunit so it keeps its memory

have you taken it out and just checked that a wire hasnt come loose or chaffed and is shorting out anywhere

it happened to mine when i broke the wire, check all the wires to the mfd first

checked all wires as i had the heater souround off the other day+fited new bulbs in it.
it had no bulbs in the mfd previously so only noticed it resets its self after i fitted my blue bulbs

it will be the connections inside the mfd taek the plasic cover off and resolder the plug to the board all will become clear when its off
