Because the department i work in no longer exsists. It got moved to Sheffield some time ago. I stayed on in Knowsley doing work for someone else who is based in Edinburgh. Now the bloke who is based in Edinburgh wants to move my role up there.

Already onto Shelly been updating my CV for the last week or so. As it stands i got 2 weeks to find something. Quite gutted but hey thats life, like you said fingers crossed i get something better.

I used to work in a College, and they were having staffing problems, so I took VR. I ended up leaving without anything to go into, went for a few interviews and nothing happened, got all down about it. But after about 3 months I got a job in a secondary school, then got promoted less than a year into it. Now I have one of the highest paying admin jobs in the school.
So just goes to show, take chances and good things happen... Maybe it happened for a good reason for you too Iain.
