using an astra gte engine would be most ideal, as the wirring should be around the same place in the bay, and not the footwell like most xe's

would it work out better to relocate the ecu to maybe behind the glovebox or surrounding area? and i still need to run the wiring for a fuel pum as well i believe

if not, make a plug and play loom to reach from footwell, you wiring in engine bay..
something like this, but much longer

ill just relocate it may work out easier and if its behind the glovebox its less hassle to get to

it'll be easier to just make a plug and play loom...
than cuting and shutting the rest of the loom to move the ecu etc, and it will cause less electrical problems

sounds like a plan, i still need to sort the fuel pump out ive been told this is different but not looked at it yet, do i just remove the wiring from a mfi model and run these wires in with a nice new mfi pump and sender

If you cut it right theres no need to lenghten if you strip all the loom covering off......
