but you are not holding the struts in place, only keeping the rubbers the same distance apart - problem there is rubber flexes, so it doesn't really do much tbh.

Unless you had uprated shocks, with hardened bushes?
The rubber cant flex that much surely?

Doesn't work like that
Uprated rear ARB will stiffen up the back end

Keeping the shocks at a constant state would be the main design i guess, but people seem to think it doesnt work.
My rear shocks have poly bushes holding them in, top & bottom, so they wont flex, i've fitted a rear strut brace with the idea that it will only help the handling.
Mind, i do have a bolt in cage, coilovers fully pollybushed, so couldnt comment on the brace making any difference, especially as the car is still in the garage, unfinished lol

ill have my cage in by next week and i'll be having a strut brace fitted to the cage...so this brace is coming off
