best tyres for the job? 165/50/15? and will they affect offset atall or cause scrubbing?

also are they availible from normal tyre places?

175/50 15 is what I'd go for on a 7.5" rim, or even an 8".

does that affect rubbing atall? wheel offset is 40, doesnt rub with 195/45's

I know someone that put 195/45/15 on a 9 inch rim

yeah, it'll rub even less than it does now.
