basiclly needing to know what needs changing to get it in and running i have a 1.4 8v club and a 2.0 8v calibra doner car been looking round site loads of info on the redtop conversion not alot for the 8v is it the same mount and driveshafts wise as 16v ?

yes basically same as an xe conversion.

cant get away with using my 8v shafts then or the calibra shafts with my hubs ?

i use to have a 2.0 8v in my corsa and i used corsa gsi shafts with conversion inner cv joints

im doing the same conversion rite now but mines out of a astra gte. u need:
Gsi shafts 22spline
Gsi Fuel pump
Conversion kit off chris astley, mounts + inner cv's
thats all but im strenthing the car up.
