Hi i joined a web site yesterday and once you registered it came up with a litttle box that you had to type your username and password in, it said to join to there server so i did what it said and i was on, now how to i no if im still connected to that server? im worried that they can now get into my compuer is this possible?

Yes, they're probably hijacking all the files/bank details etc from your computer right now.

Explain, is there any way to check if im still connected iv run norton and all is fine, i dont no alot about this so all sensible and proper help would be good

I'm only kidding. Its not a problem, it just means that the site isnt using whats called SSL...something that banking sites use to secure the information transmitted from your computer to the web site.
Its nothing to worry about unless the site in question is used for buying anything etc, or requested your bank details. If its something simple like a forum like Corsa Sport then i wouldnt worry about it.
