When i put my wipers on the first setting where they should wipe then pause for a second or so then wipe again. They stop like half way across the windscreen then different the next time? they work fine when on the higher settings but don't stop right when i wash my screen eather and stop where they want.

plz help anyone as you can imagine this is very annoying
