hello all i have a 1.4 sri 96
when i got it the speedo didnt work last owner advised me t change the clocks witch i did and its still not working i have also change the speedo cable and it still doesnt work
any ideas please

mine stopped clocking mileage so i changed the clocks and speedo cable and it still does it. weird lol

thats wat happeaned to me too gsirick, its really weird, it just works the lower mileage reading the upwards one doesnt

my speedo ran of my abs sensor dont know if its the same for yours though. my milage was still counting up but no speed was showing got my abs sensor fixed and it worked. dont knw if that helps

if you have changed the clocks and the cable, then it must be the part that sits in the box tht the cable screws on too.
or worse case senario the plastic ring on the diff has moved/sheared.

How strange, I thought the milage operated by judging what speeds you were doing, therefore only needing 1 cable.

You can pull a fuse in a Clio and that stops counting the milage
|
