right i had a wheel bearing gone so i took the hub off took it to me mate had a problem with it so the car ended up spending 2 days on an axle stand i put the new one on today bolted it back up today went to go for a test drive and its running well rough
it wont idle properly goes to die and then just catches its self and revs back up and its misfiring at the same time i got no ecu light and i know it does work as it was up when i first put the engine in its got no power lose though as it will go when you get going but it got worse as it warmed up
could it be that sitting on the stand for a day or 2 with little fuel in it that its picked up crap from the tank?
or is it just strange freek of nature and something else is wrong?

Hmmm. Mine sometimes has the same problem. If you put your foot down it makes a loud bang.
I just turn off the engine, take the key out, count to 3 then start it up then it's all fine again.
