Have you been to Prague? If so, whats it like?
Me and the girl i'm seeing are thinking of popping there for a long weekend like a thurs-monday or something, found a nice 5* hotel which has 9/10 rating from customers. About £300 per person, so I was just wondering if anyone had been and had any experiences with Prague?

brilliant city, me and the missus loved it.
Walked arround all night, didnt see any trouble and just ended up in random jazz bars till the early hours.
plus beer is sooo cheep. The bar next to our hotel worked out at 80p a shot of voddy/absenth etc

i worked there for 2 weeks, was dodgy and didnt get to see much from a ourist point of view, but a few freineds went and said it was a great weekend, even went in that big sister place

I went a few years back, must be 2000
It was really nice, and still really cheap back then...about 20p a pint
Think it's got more expensive now from what I've heard though

Brothers been, thoroughly enjoyed it he did.
The buildings there are awesome 
And cheap drinks

Nor me mate went with the misses although i didnt see many hookers etc, my mates who have been on stag do's etc say there are loads out there.
Also if your abit of a smoker dont buy anything out there. The guys who try and sell you smoke on the street sell this shitty tar stuff and sell it to you as hash, its shit

I went in Jan with girlfriend for a weekend, was good, wouldn't go there for much longer though, we managed to get everything done that we wanted.

Just booked up, Leaving 27th March early morning, coming back on the 31st March late evening. So getting 4 nights and 5 days in prague, British Airways flights, 4* hotel (987 Design Prague Hotel) for £280 per person, not bad at all to be honest.

Looking forward to it, me and my girlfriend both always wanted to go, I just got my £630 deposit back from my old house so thought why not spend it on something i've wanted to do for ages

i got back from there last week was a bit cold but some nice buildings and some real good shopping centres, found few nice bars but got ripped off with a few meals in the town square.

I went and I wasn't that impressed. All that talk of 20p pints is bullshit. All the bars there were expensve, there actually wasn't that much night life. One night club, though I guess you could go and hang out on brothels.

We went in December and it was freezing!! I had enough with 2days. We walked so much on the 1st day and saw pretty much everything. Its not cheap at all, my in laws went 3 years ago and they said prices had increased so much! We stayed in the 4* K & K Fenix hotel which was very nice.

mum has been loads, a 330ml of alcopops is about 75p. beer knocks on the pound mark.
amazing architecture as well. if u want a true experience dont stop in a 5* hotel-go to a quaint traditional cosy bnb

I moved back to my parents this year purely so i can do these type of trips more, for £280 per person you can't moan really! I've been given some book from soemone at work which is like a Prague: Day by Day guide so we can go see some sites
