I cant get my corsa 1.3cdti started due to it not getting fuel, when the ignition is switched on the fuel pump doesnt make the engaging sound, i am pretty sure this is due to an immoboliser problem because the immoboliser light doesnt come on anymore on the dash when the ignition is switched on.



Has anybody got any ideas thanks

Immoboliser light? I wasnt aware there was one on a Corsa C?

try the fuel relay, they useally go on a lot at work.

yeh its the bottom light on the left under the engine management light, its a car with like a coil going through it.

I know where all the relays are to the left of the car is the fuel replay here? if so what colour is it? thanks

Actually is this the immoboliser light read a few forums and they say its the engine managment light?

yeah mate that is your e.m light but if you try and use the wrong key that light is the 1 that will flash to say you have an immob fault as for the non start fault, ??. does the engine turn over and sound normal?

yeah fine, this light doesnt come on at all so i cant tell wether the immoboliser is been de activated or now. I know if the immoboliser is faulty it stops the fuel pump from working which is my problem.

If its still under warranty get it to vauxhall

could be a number of things really, remove the fuel line going into the fuel filter housing under the bonnet, if fuel spurts out then that eliminates the fuel pick up pump. Could also be the relay as mentioned and also the high pressure pump. Whatever you do dont crack off the fuel lines to the injectors to check for fuel while cranking, the pressure on a common rail diesel engine is immense

If the engine management light doesnt come on at all then that suggests a dead ECU or fuse.
