I've lost 2 1/2 stone in the last year, my weight is staying about the same now even though the fat is still going cos im doing weights and stuff aswell as swimming 150 - 200 lenghts a day so its balancing out. Ive got so much more energy and motivation now, and yes, self confidence is also increasing. I had a pizza on saturday for the second time in about 9 months, and i felt quite guilty afterwards

I always do like 20+ press ups in a set, but only do a few sets before wrists start to hurt.

I aim to do 100 per session at least. 10x10 is easier for me than 20x5. I get warn out by the end tend to fade, where-as with 10s i find I can finish them. 10-1's are awesome too! 10,9,8,7 etc. Only 55 but they REALLY burn!

EDIT - get some pushup bars, tape your wrist or use a ball if you're sadistic.

nah my point laney was, have you seen much difference from doing 10 x 10? like muscle gain and strength?

I just thought 10 would be too easy to make it not do much? I don't weigh that much so doing 10 pressups is fairly doss.

A smell bullshit...

Look at what he does... If you solely did what that video does to do, there's no way you'd go from what he was to what he is... for example, complete abs transformation from just 2 sets of 30 secs double crunches a day... Plus he lost a lot of fat (to be that lean) from start to finish to end up how he is at the end. I can only suggest he was doing a lot more than what's shown in that vid, for example his gym has loads of other weight equipment he doesn't use in the vid... So I'd assume he did use it all at one point...

Plus... how he started initially, there's no way he could've done half of his stuff like 1 armed push ups etc.

Join a gym FTW, get a personal trainer up there to give you a review and they will recommend exercises and food you should be eating etc etc

I am completing "Food & Mood" diaries which I have to honestly fill in every day I am also filling in "Sleep" diaries...

I just see my PT every 3/4 weeks and he checks my diaries and he advises me on what to do!

Yup. I've never done any real weight training and I've got a lot of definition. 100 of anything a day is gonna see gains, upto a certain level anyhow. I aim for 200 every other day, and I still ache. Its about variation too, incline, decline, using a ball, triangle, claps, knuckles. Its basic military training!

Have you tried doing 100pushups in one session? Fatigue kicks in and its hard!

They didn't use the same training method twice. The body never learns to adapt so its a shock, which works the muscles more? I might be wrong though....
