hi i have a 1994 corsa b! having problems with the reading on the fuel gauge. it just seems to bob up and down when it pleases! is this a common fault,bad connection or would it be easier to just change the whole dials unit itself? help needed......

get your self to a scrappies, pull out the clocks and unscrew the 2 small nuts on the back of the fuel gauge and put it in your pocket and walk out worked for me

It's the fuel moving around in the tank. If you do some slow braking then yeah it's move up. Also if you are joining the motorway and it's an uphill approach then it'll say you have less.
Nothing wrong with your dials or the sensor in the tank.
