As above reallly...

When I go from 2nd to 3rd when driving a bit "hard", I sometmes get a bit of a "crunchhhhhhhhhhh".

Can I sort this out?

if its just that gear i would say the syncro is worn

my box did it for a while then cleared up.

try adjusting linkage?

Most common cause of this is gearshift linkage. Mine does it into second sometimes,

No idea how to adjust it on a mk4, probably much more complicated than mine
