I spoke to ed (Superlite) about it yesterday, he said the kit would be around £300-400, for electric pas.

Alex, i know a lad that recently put a corsa C EPAS into a mk1 golf.
He'd do it for you on the corsa if you wanted. He's much better than me at electrics

Rip the leccy pas out of a 1.0 12v corsa b in a scrappy and get someone to fit it, should be much cheaper than 3-400

use a liquid rack, with saxo electric pump, no need to worry about pully's then, and it will also be switchable, so you can turn it on or off etc

i prefer the idea of having it switch on and off able, im thinking of the saxo setup on mine, for daily driving have pas on, and for fun on the back lanes/country road's turn it off

but wouldnt turning off a wet system make it very heavy even when driving due to haveing to overcome the pressure of the fluid, same as turning the engine off whilst driving it becomes heavy.
