Jakey put your parents as named drivers on the quinn direct quote and it will drop a fair bit

hard to find insurance companies if you're under 19 and want to mod.

either don't mod,
risk modding and not telling insurance
or pay silly amounts of money to add mods.

you must live in a place were cars are stolen all the time

feel sorry for you mate.

My first car was 1.2 8v was payin almost a grand at 17
Then i got 1.6 sport when i turned 18 and was paying 900 with a years no claims.
Then i got gsi and was paying 671 and then swapped that over to my current 1.8sri for no extra cost

It really hurts to get insured.
My area's not that rough

Theres been 2 murders in the 9years i've been here.
Quite good that tbh.

I'm with elephant, at 17 with mods it started off at 1700 has just been renewed at 18 with one years no claims at 1200 and thats on a 1.2 16v. Any insurance company takes the piss for lads starting too drive at 17......Especially if your wanting to mod it! just got to bite the bullet i'm affraid

I already am biting the bullet paying £1500 but when some companies want £4000 for a Sport, that is the bullet i cannot bite.

i pay £600 to drive any car upto the value of £25k

I just think my lad will be lucky when he is driving as i will put him on my traders prob only cost another £100-200

im with admiral, have all my mods declaired, first year was £1200 when i was 18.
