Anyone done one?
Me and a few mates are considering doing one as they look like a good laugh.
Expensive?
Chances of ending up dead or in trouble?

I've been on two....with my parents back in the day tho.
Both good, really slow pace of life tho....but I bet with a group of mates it would be good.

Really want to do one myself round by where I live, as there's loads of canals round the black country/Birmingham.
If I did it i'd want everyone dressed up in pirate gear for the full extent of the holiday though - is that sad? .

They aren't too hard to drive. Narrow boats are harder because they are long and use a tiller rather than a steering wheel. Capsizing one would take some doing, nearly impossible, but its the locks that you can get yourself into trouble with if you aren't careful. Getting stuck on the sills etc.

Round by Dudley because it's so hilly there's shit loads of locks, hence the pub round the corner from where the missus lives called the tenth lock.
10 Locks
1 Team
1 Stopwatch
1 pint per member of said team, per lock.
Carnage .
Actually, are the rules similar to those with cars as regards drinking and... "driving"? .
