well, the point of corner weighting is to find the weight distribution of the car so that you can set up the suspension and spring rates/damping rates so that the car handles perfectly.
will it make a difference? well yes if you are trying to shave 0.1 secs off lap times. not really if you are building a fun trackday car.

So you can set up the car so it is level, camber & castor set aswell?
price for that & topmounts?

How did you design the GAZ stuff were you testing different settings on track etc?

How did he help design this then?

Errrm.
There were none available, we gave a shock & spring (front & rear), then Dave took the measurements & made up the drawings, then the Coilovers came through.
Took a couple of goes, but they are the first Gaz have offered for the cav turbo.

we take 1 standard strut, spring and hub assembly and work from that as a base. we then make various drawings of the standard items and work out how much lower the car would need to be and reduce piston length as well as shock body length. the car will then be corner weighted to decide on spring poundage and then the damping rates will be decided on based on the piston length, spring poundage and length of available stroke. We then design the appropriate brackets and camber settings where applicable.
then final drawings and spec will be drawn up using a CAD program and these drawings and specs will be sent to the manufacturers. they make the struts to our spec and another company will make the springs and topmounts for us.
The suspension is them re-fitted onto the car and tested for its paticular use and set up accordingly. Often the design will need to be tweeked a few times to get it right, the corsa B kit took 3 attempts to get various aspects of it right, the corsa C kit was a lot easier.
Quite often a kit wont be available off the shelf for a paticular vehicle so we can make it up from scratch to the customers own spec, did one recently for a customers TVR with great results.

theres nothing difficult to it as long as you understand suspension geometry (I trained at ford as a suspension technician, engine technician and auto electrician) and have a good mechanical understanding and can use a CAD system confidently then its pretty straight forward. Working with a company such as Gaz behind you helps a lot as well as they have decades of experience.

Is this for a corsa? I have heard that ditching the front ARB allows the corsa to corner better as the front will "Twist" and grip in to the corner.
that could be a good tweek
This setup just soften the front end a bit. Try install an ARB on rear or stiffer rear springs.
