as above, cant justify spending £300+ on sotware tbh, and the "borrowed" versions i have dont let me load them and cant find a goood code 
so iv seen elements on amazon for about £80 and wondered if it would do the same thing?

no, elements is a cut down (pretty much just the basics) of photoshop. Useful for doing quick touch ups to pictures but thats about it, can't do nearly half the stuff you can do in photoshop
