got the engine out puttin into a corsa soon what should i do maintanence wise before i put it in. also anything need to be done to the loom?

Usually best to work out a service kit to suit.
timing belt
fan belt
oil
filters
can get some new lifters to stop the annoying tapping noise
ultrasonic clean injectors

where can you get some new lifters from as i migth be buying a gsi with a Xe engine.. and its got the anoying tapping..

Ebay or Vauxhall.
I went for vaux, as its the real deal, lots of cheap tat out there.
