And whats the best way to go about it?

I know they are 88bhp standard, mine has a Peco system and pipercross filter, which will have one of Stu_22's inlets, so im guessing it'll be around the 100bhp mark?

I dont know a whole lot on the subject, but what other engine mods would you advise and whats the highest powered 1416 youve seen?

Ditch it, buy a 1.6.

More BHP and torque straight off. Drive so different.

But, Throttle bodied if your going for high power, pocketed pistons and superlairy cams, verniers and proper management and mapping.

Well to be honest i want a 2.0 16v conversion, but due to insurance i wont be able to get this until August at the earliest.

Just wondering what the potential of the 1416 was.

SBD do a 240bhp 1.6 16v for £10000
