can someone tell me how easy it is to remove the badges off your car without taking the to the garage to do it.

Possible instructions will be nice!

the vauxhall griffin badge in the centre of the boot has locating pins, so if you remove it leaves holes in the boot lid

imo a bets thing to use is an old credit card or something like it. it has cornered edges and is quite thin so ideal for the job

keep the car close to the badge NOT the paint as new paint seems really soft on newer car's

the remove the glue with thinner's and your finger's, take you time

finish it off with a slight compound IE T-cut then polish the area after

so no need to heat the badges up or anything?
and can i do this down the trim of the car aswell?

heat them to make the glue tacky and then peel, remove residue with thinners )longest and most depressing bit so be patient) and then tcut and polish

whats the easiest way to heat it? if possible without using a heat gun? and where do i get thinners from?

Hairdryer works quite well but takes a bit of time, I used dental floss when the glue was tacky and eased it off, white spirit or a bit of petrol will do the job but be prepared to buff hard. Once all the glue is off use a bit of polish on the area as the imprint of the badge can get left behind
